2004 Athens Olympic silver medallist Leon Taylor is regarded as one of the world's top platform divers. He has a long and distinguished career having represented Great Britain since 1992 and is one of only a handful of divers to perform in competition the ‘hardest dive in the world’ - A backward 2 and ˝ somersaults with 2 and ˝ twists piked. He invented the dive in 1998 which had the world of diving holding their breadth and showed the diving fraternity the way forward.
With a genuine passion for everything he gets involved in, Leon is now enjoying the challenges of inspirational speaking alongside his full time training.
As a speaker Leon has real passion and enthusiasm. His insight into what its like to stand on your tip toes, on the edge of a board, 10 meters above the water is quite something.
In his long career as a platform diver, he has had many twists and turns, injuries and set backs to deal with as well as the successes. It has been a very exciting journey along the way and he has many a story to tell.
Leon likes to work closely with clients to ensure his speech has relevance and if he can he tries to provide practical solutions to any issues currently being faced by the audience. |
